Clutter Control
It is hard to have an organized life or even an organized thought when you are overwhelmed with clutter. The first step towards organization is to work on getting rid of the clutter.
There are three types of clutter and you can work on all of them at once or choose one to start.
1)The extra stuff that you have in your home that you don't use and that gets in the way so that you can't find the stuff that you want to use.
2) The extra commitments that fill your time and that do not really satisfy any of your own wants or needs--you just didn't know how to say no and now you're stuck.
3) The bad habits that rob you of your health or happiness--like drinking, smoking, and overeating.
The plan we will be working will include some ideas for all of these--but don't try to eliminate all of them at once, change needs to come slowly and carefully or you may burn yourself out or give up before you've had a chance to see results.
Spend no more than 30 minutes a day on clutter cutting to get started. An occasional splurge--spending a whole morning on clutter--is workable, but not necessary. You didn't get this way overnight, expecting to fix it overnight is totally unrealistic. Take your time and do it right.
